Congratulations
by Alex on 02 Nov 2007
Congratulations go to Nick Vose, who was elected as Vice Chair (Political) on Tuesday evening. Nick now takes up the role on a permanent basis after the resignation of Sean Edwards .
Also congratulations go to Philip Greaves and Daniel Dugmore, who were appointed as the society's new Executives Without Portfolio. They take up their roles next week. As we have two new non ports, it means we are saying goodbye to Steven Chadwick, who has been an effective member of the exec over the last 6 months.

Lancaster Conservative Future Launches Bottler Brown Campaign
by David on 26 Oct 2007
Gordon and his ministers dropped loads of hints about having an election and whipped the media and the public up into a frenzy. But then the polls changed, it looked like he might lose, and he decided not to let people have their say. Talk about treating the British public like fools! That is why Lancaster Conservative Future has launched the“Bottler Brown“ Campaign on the Lancaster University Campus. To highlight the issue to Lancaster students we will be distributing themed “Bottler Brown” mats across campus. When you see one of our beer mats in your college bar, remember that there is a serious point behind them; through his own conduct Brown has proved he is a weak and ineffectual leader who has refused the British people their chance to vote for change and end ten years of a failed Labour government. You can read more about this campaign and our other current campaigns on the campaign page of our website.
