Fleetwood Action Day: Thank You

Dear Nick,

On behalf of all our members, I would like to thank you and all your colleagues for your marvellous contribution to our campaigning in Fleetwood. It was a truly magnificent effort and was greatly appreciated.
Now you know Fleetwood, perhaps we will be lucky enough to see you again, although I do realize you all have lots of studying to do.

Once more thank you so much

Best Regards

Sadie
Chairman Fleetwood Conservative Association.

Debate Evening

Given all activities in town, for our Social this week we are going to have a Debate Evening in Pendle TV Room, on Campus, on Tuesday the 17th! The evening will start at 20:00 in Pendle TV Room, which for those of you that don’t know is above Pendle Bar!

A potential list of topics is below:
- Has David Cameron really changed the Conservative Party?

- Do we live in a “broken society,” what should the Tories do to fix this?

- Will the Conservative Party be ready for governance at the next general election? Where do you see its shortcomings?

- Greatest Tory Leader?

Get Involved: Join The Executive

Hi guys if you were not at the meal last night then you will not yet know that two positions have become available on the executive. Firstly Social Secretary and secondly Publicity and Communications Secretary.

I have sent out an email to all members detailing the positions and their responsibilities. I look forward to receiving your applications. Being on the executive is a great way to get more involved in the running of our society and meet influential people. It also looks fantastic on your CV, with previous exec members going on to work in West Minster!

The closing date for applications is FRIDAY 24TH OCTOBER

I would like to thank Tom Currie and Gillian Louise Hulse for their work on the executive.

Week 2 Meal: Pizza Margareta

Hi Guys I hope all those that came to the champagne reception enjoyed themselves, had a good time and meet some new friends. If you could not make it then I hope to see you all at our week 2 meal.

We will be going to Pizza Margareta, a independent Italian restaurant in town, that always provides good food. We will have the upstairs of the restaurant so it is an excellent opportunity to talk with amongst yourselves and get to know each other.
